The Cartizze Dry from the Ivan Agostinetto winery is an elegant and creamy sparkling wine that comes from heroic viticulture in Valdobbiadene. It has aromas of pear and candied citrus fruits and a soft, mineral and heady taste!
The sparkling wine, produced with the Martinotti or Charmat method, is of great elegance, softness and harmony. It is made with 100% Glera grapes, which come exclusively from the precious hills of Cartizze, the historically most suitable spot of the entire Valdobbiadene area. It represents the highest qualitative point of the denomination and a true symbol of excellence of the territory.
The splendid sunny exposures and the predominantly calcareous soils, rich in fossils, allow the Glera in this area to reach full maturity with a remarkable expressive finesse. At the end of the harvest, we proceed with the soft pressing of the grapes and the classic white vinification. After a few months of rest in steel tanks, the base wines are transferred to an autoclave for the second fermentation with the Martinotti Method.
The Dry dosage makes it particularly sweet and soft, with floral aromas and intense fruity notes, which make the sip very pleasant. It is a dessert sparkling wine, ideal to taste with small dry pastries or with fruit tarts.
In the glass it has a pale straw yellow color. The bouquet expresses delicate floral notes, aromas of pear, apple, white peach and citrus peel. The sip is elegant and fine, with a particularly persuasive and soft entrance on the palate, a sweet, juicy fruit and a finish that closes on fresh and savory sensations. Serve at 6° - 8° C in a large flute.
